I believe Gackt Camui is one of the most popular icons in Japan. Starting his career in 1994, as the front-man of the short-lived independent band Cains:Feel, he then joined Malice Mizer in 1995 before starting his own solo career in 1999. Gackt will release a new single on the 12th of February. "P.S. I LOVE U" [single title] will be paired with the Rouge et Noir CM song "RIDE OR DIE". It will be available as CD (1,260yen), DVD (1,860yen) and a special box (2,310yen)

Kyary pamyu pamyu started her career when she was only 19,releasing a massive hit called PON PON PON! [2011]
This year,Kyary provided the theme song for the Japanese release of “Star Trek Into Darkness,” having been selected by director JJ Abrams.
News in September states that she will embark on yet another world tour next year! She'll start off in the US, followed by London, France, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and Japan.

After versailles ascended on their "hiatus",the 4 instrumentalists reunited with a new singer named Zin and officially formed under the name JUPITER.
Jupiter released their debut album,CLASSICAL ELEMENT, in august,this year. They will attend live shows in Europe,next year,to celebrate their first album. here is their schedule:
